One of our concerns is the misinformation that exists and is circulated by commercial companies as well as individuals. There are many fish treatment products that do not do anything, and others that will kill your fish when used according to the directions.

The mislabeling of products for Koi fish treatment borders on criminal and enforcement seems to fall in the cracks for the fish keeper. Other than harming the environment the EPA doesn’t care, and neither does the FDA. The Department of Agriculture may be interested in fish farming, but not your typical decorative pond.
